I WON'T SHUT UP

"Kick me under the table all you want I won't shut up, I won't shut up Kick me under the table all you want I won't shut up, I won't shut up"
- Fiona Apple, "Under the Table"

I went for a drive today. I picked a place on the map and told Waze to go the longest, most out-of-the-way route there. I thought it would be a good escape from the growing drudgery of seeing the same rooms everyday.

It wasn't all that exciting, honestly.

I did get some new building pictures, which I'll be posting to my Instagram account over the next few days, but mostly there wasn't much to see.

There were a lot of people out, on the roads and walking around. I drove passed a golf course and people were playing a few holes. I passed gas stations and people were filling up. I passed restaurants, and there were cars driving through. Everything was so normal. The sun was shining. The air was still. It was like a fever dream.

Everything was so normal.

I guess that's ok. I got out of the house. I saw some beautiful buildings. I took a few pictures, and I listened to some good music. The sun was out, but it wasn't too hot.

Everything was so normal.
