the first poetry collection from tres crow
Pulled from notebooks, stacks of loose papers, and blood-stained napkins tucked away in boxes and bins, Sketches is the culmination of over two decades of notes, scribbles, and assorted ephemera.

Its tidy, square shape and sparse lines reflect the grim broken concrete and weed-choked vacant lots of Tres' childhood spent riding BMX bikes through 1990's Rust Belt America. The collection is a melancholic exploration of the cognitive dissonance of the Clinton years, when America was "booming," and yet, all around the first cracks were showing in the national foundation.
