I had the opportunity to speak with Lakshmy Menon, MPH (Master of Public Health), an epidemiologist who works as an infection preventionist in Los Angeles and serves as the communications chair for the Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC). She previously spent seven years (between 2008 and 2015) working as a health scientist for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination.
