Tucker makes Masks for everyone! The group was created to help ease the pain of limited supplies during the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. Healthcare workers are days away from running out. Many already have. Several members of this group have already donated masks to healthcare workers! But it’s not nearly enough. We need more. There are 2 missions of this group: Making a Mask and Teaching how to make a Mask MAKING A MASK After spending 8 hours making 10 decent masks, I realized how hard it will be to make a lot of masks for a lot of people. I am not a seamstress and neither is my mom (she’s running the machine!), so our work is MEH, it meets all the specs but it’s not pretty. It will get the job done for leaving home ONLY because you have to. But those who know what they are doing are creating beautiful works of art! That's why there will be 2 donation options. My spa is currently closed to clients but open to masks. I plan on being there as much as I can for as long as I can. I am taking mask donations for healthcare workers. I will donate them to ONLY healthcare workers. And I am taking mask donations for the rest of us, including officers, firefighters, grocery store staff, restaurant employees, anyone that cannot be home because you are home, allergy sufferers, underlying health conditions, a lot of people. You decide where your donation goes. TEACHING HOW TO MAKE A MASK I realize this is an impossible goal. It is going to be very hard to make masks for everyone. So why not make videos and teach how to make masks. If I could hand stitch one with very basic sewing skills, I think it’s worth a try. This way you can make masks for all your loved ones. Maybe a new skill to teach your kids while they are home. I’ll put up a tutorial tomorrow, you put one up too! Let’s learn from each other! I want to shout out all the members of the group.
